|About the Book|
Into the Light feels like a missed opportunity. A whole host of characters are introduced at a speed that really sits well with a story of this sort, only to be dispatched just as quickly. The plot of the story is enjoyable and the premise and conclusion fitting and it does have some nice touches (the monster and the closet - brilliant!)Ultimately it suffers from being crammed into the short story format. It needs room to breathe and allow the reader time to get emotionally involved with the characters. It is also in dire need of a proof read. There are many grammatical errors and typos that should have been picked up before publication.I did enjoy this story but it had many issues that reduced the experience.
